Today, Stereogum unveiled the first mp3, “Bright Orange Air”, from forthcoming debut full-length, Inter Arbiter, from our friend and newest signee, Inlets.

A super talented musician, lyricist, and a great friend, we’re proud to be releasing Inlets’ first recordings since his 2006 Vestibule EP.

Though primarily the solo project of Sebastian Krueger, Inlets employs a litany of indie rock superstar guests on Inter Arbiter including Zach Condon (Beirut), Angel Deradoorian (Dirty Projectors), and Marla Hansen (Osso String Quartet).

Note the incredible Ben Tousley-designed artwork above; listen to one of my favorite songs in a long time; and let us know how you feel!

Inter Arbiter is out April 20th.

Announcement: That Ghost - Get It And Get Out EP

On November 17, twosyllable will be unearthing a sold-out, tour-only CDR That Ghost EP. Titled Get It And Get Out, this EP is raw and raucous; fun and wild; it’s brash and beautiful. This is another face of That Ghost.

Take “Phones Don’t Feud”, which lolls along before cutting itself in half with a crash of frothy tremolo, Pemberton surfing the subsequent swirl of trebly guitar and “oooh-aaah” vocal layering as it decrescendos and eventually dissolves away. It’s a beautiful way to build a song.
